This year, Simsbury Garden Club will hold a garden tour of six beautiful gardens to celebrate Simsbury’s 350th Anniversary. The “Beyond the Garden Gate” garden tour is the club’s key fundraiser for 2020-21, and money raised will support the scholarship fund.
This one-day tour is set for June 19th from 10 am to 4 pm and will be held rain or shine.
The tour includes 6 private gardens in Simsbury, CT. The gardens are all unique, ranging from shade gardens to full sun, water features, stone walls, woodland gardens and art.

Art and Music
All gardens with have a local artist painting en Plein air. The gardens at 204 Westledge Rd will have live music from 1pm-4pm.
Debbie will be painting at 204 Westledge Rd, Simsbury, CT.
Marcie will be performing at 204 Westledge Rd, Simsbury, CT from 1pm-2pm.
TICKETS
Tickets can be purchased the Simsbury Garden Club website through PayPal or in person at Fitzgerald (cash or checks only) at 710 Hopmeadow Street in Simsbury, beginning on May 1st. Tickets are $20 and increase to $25 on the day of the tour.
On the day of the tour, bring your ticket to the Simsbury Historical Society at 800 Hopmeadow Street to turn it in for a program booklet, which allows you entry to each garden. The program booklet includes a town map with the garden locations and a description of the unique features and highlights of each garden.
- The gardens are NOT handicapped accessible
- No strollers or dogs
- Masks must be always worn
- Tickets are nonrefundable
